62-year-old Australian actress Rowena Wallace, who is best known for her roles in Home and Away, Sons and Daughters and Neighbours, has admitted to having plastic surgery and is grateful for her cosmetic procedures in helping her feel better about aging. Rowena Wallace decided to have plastic surgery procedures including an eyelid lift, liposuction and a necklift to make her feel better about getting older.
Wallace told New Idea magazine, “The doctor did a wonderful job. I knew this would be the start of a new beginning. It’s my birthday this month and I couldn’t imagine a more heartfelt birthday present. At last I have something positive to say. I have a second chance and this time I am not going to fritter it away. And you can take that to the bank!”
An eyelid lift can remove excess skin, wrinkles, discolorations or a combination from the eye area, giving a more youthful appearance. Most eyelid procedures can be safely performed in the Palm Beach Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery office with local anesthesia only, although an adjoining hospital outpatient surgery unit is also available.
A necklift removes excessive neck skin, fat and/or muscle bands to achieve smooth results.
