Tummy tuck – Since fat is not removed during this procedure, some liposuction will typically be done either before, during or after the tummy tuck. Designed to tighten the skin of the abdomen and working muscles of the abdomen.
Mini Facelift – Utilizes local anesthesia only, no pills or IVs. “Patients are comfortable, we listen to music, we talk, and we are doing basically the same thing that we would for a classical full lift, except there is less dissection,” explains Dr. Barr.
Liposuction – Utilizes local anesthesia only, no pills or IVs. Works on areas that are resistant to diet and exercise, like the belly, hips, flanks and inner and outer thighs. “It is a little different than being in the hospital; we think it is as safe, if not safer.”
eMatrix – This radio frequency (RF) technology is the latest skin treatment available. It does not use a laser, but rather RF energy waves that work on the surface of the skin to help resolve fine lines, wrinkles and discoloration. “The nice thing about this technology is it is applicable to any skin type or color,” Dr. Barr notes.
Breast Augmentation – Palm Beach Plastic Surgery offers both saline and silicone implants, which were recently approved by the FDA. PBPS offers all different shapes and sizes of implants to meet the needs of each patient. Breast augmentation enhances the volume of your breasts so you’re more comfortable, and feel more balanced and proportionate “in your clothing and out of your clothing.”
